The Nashoba Brook and Assabet River Need Your Help!
The Organization for the Assabet (OAR) is holding its 24th Annual River Cleanup on Saturday, September 11. Join friends and neighbors for a morning of hard but satisfying work in the Nashoba Brook behind the bakery in West Concord, followed by a pizza lunch along the river! Cleanup takes place rain or shine.
Other cleanup sites are on the Assabet River in Northborough, Marlborough, Hudson, Stow, Maynard, Acton, and on the Concord River in Billerica.
